Safety Net Value Champions Fellowship Program

This nine-month fellowship is designed to develop the competencies needed to address medical overuse in safety net health systems. We are seeking eight clinical-value champions from safety net settings within the United States who deliver direct patient care (MD, DO, PA, NP or RN). Training will be based on the Taking Action on Overuse framework—a roadmap to engagement that results in action and behavior change, leading to a reduction in medical overuse—and on our experience implementing it. Training sessions will be taught by nationally recognized faculty.
